SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.–Aramis Garcia has one of the best jobs in the Cactus League.
It’s not the best job. That belongs to the world-famous “Lemonade, lemonade just like grandma made,” vendor.
But as a Giants’ catching prospect, Garcia’s spring gig is a close second. As San Francisco’s second round draft pick in 2014, Garcia is working his way through the Minor Leagues and hoping to catch Madison Bumgarner and Johnny Cueto at AT&T Park in the near future.
In the meantime, he’s catching several Major League pitchers in Giants’ camp at their Scottsdale spring training complex, while soaking in knowledge from Buster Posey and Nick Hundley, who possess nearly 20 years of Major League experience between them.
