What do you get when you combine celebrity chef/television host Guy Fieri and baseball?
That's right, you get “Guy’s Grocery Games: Big League Teams.”
Former Giants pitcher Jeremy Affeldt and infielder Rich Aurilia joined the Food Network show to display some of their culinary skills with a carb-loading challenge.
What better challenge is there, really?
Affeldt said playing 14 MLB seasons and winning a few World Series championships was cool, but being a “grill master,” is something he’s just as proud of.
Also, here's a fun fact: Did you know that if Aurilia didn’t take the baseball, and now NBC Sports Bay Area analyst route, he would have gone to culinary school?
