The San Francisco Giants will not start their series against the Colorado Rockies on Monday night, as originally scheduled. More than three hours before the first pitch, both teams announced that the series opener would be postponed as rain has been hitting the Denver area hard.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Tuesday, with the first of the two games starting at 2:40 p.m. PT. Tuesday’s game was originally scheduled for 5:40, which is probably around the time the second half of the doubleheader will get underway.
Due to the current health and safety protocols, each game will only be seven innings long.
