LOS ANGELES - As the Giants' latest marathon tour across America continued Friday night, they had to face two unhappy facts. One, they are an immensely bad road team. Two, the Dodgers look more and more like they have sufficient firepower to overcome their pitching injuries and win the West.
The Giants can take some solace from a 3-2 loss at Dodger Stadium that they will reach the midway portion of their road schedule for the season halfway through Saturday’s game.
