DENVER - A little part of Tim Lincecum will be on the field for the Giants on Sunday, in leather, so to speak.
Brandon Belt is making his first 2017 start in left field. He has been using a borrowed outfield glove from replay coach Chad Chop, which Chop said he got from Lincecum as a gift. It's a Japanese Nike.
"It's a Gold Glove already," Belt joked, pointing to the golden swoosh on the leather.
Less than three weeks into the season, the Giants are in scramble mode because of injuries and to try to get some offense out of this lineup.
