SAN FRANCISCO -- Finally sustaining some offense against the Dodgers, the Giants manufactured a four-run rally in Friday night's seventh inning, which featured Kelby Tomlinson's pinch-hit double, to record a 6-4 victory.
The Giants, who had scored one run or fewer against Los Angeles in five of their previous six encounters this season, trailed, 4-2, when they accelerated their rally against Dodgers lefty Tony Cingrani. Brandon Crawford walked with Austin Jackson on first base and one out. Eighth-place hitter Gorkys Hernandez, who entered the game in a 1-for-13 skid, singled home Jackson.
