The Giants only waited one day to make a second round of camp cuts, after an eight-player batch of cuts on Wednesday, which featured optioning Marco Luciano and reassigning Bryce Eldridge, as Bryan wrote about here.
Thursday’s batch of camp cuts is much smaller, but the names are notable: right-handed pitcher Trevor McDonald has been optioned, while left-handed pitcher Carson Whisenhunt has been reassigned.
