LOS ANGELES — No one is having more fun than Mauricio Dubón.
Ten years after he moved to the United States from Honduras to pursue his dream of playing professional baseball, Dubón was booed as he circled the bases in his first career game at Dodger Stadium.
Dubón loved it.
“That was awesome, that was incredible,” Dubón said. “Listening to the boos at Dodger Stadium, Giants-Dodgers, it was really fun.”
The Giants’ shortstop became the first rookie to record three hits in a game at Dodger Stadium since second baseman Joe Panik went 3-for-5 in a 5-2 Giants win on September 22, 2014.
