The Giants don’t exactly need another infielder. Matt Duffy is coming back soon, and hopefully Joe Panik doesn’t need much more than the time he’ll get on the 7-day DL. They sure are starting Grant Green because Ramiro Pena is hurt right now, but eventually they’ll get their infield back, along with Kelby Tomlinson as a quality reserve.
The Giants don’t exactly need another outfielder. Hunter Pence should be back by the end of the month, and Angel Pagan is hot. Also, Pagan is getting a lot of hits.
