Manager Bruce Bochy said Sunday that left fielder Jarrett Parker will undergo "some kind of procedure" to repair his broken right collarbone. Asked for a prognosis, Bochy provided what he termed a "rough estimate" of eight weeks.
Bochy reported that Parker felt a bit better mentally a day after he got hurt crashing into the left-field fence while catching a DJ LeMahieu drive Saturday.
"I think he felt better because of the fact he'll be back this year," Bochy said. Parker understandably was upset Saturday. Moreover, he almost passed out from the pain.
