The San Francisco Giants have made some relatively tough decisions to make with their pitching staff as of late and the trend of transactions continues, as they make a bold trade with the Texas Rangers.
The Giants sent outfielder Austin Jackson, right-handed reliever Cory Gearrin, and righty pitching prospect Jason Bahr to the Rangers for a player to be named later.
This move was announced a couple days after veteran right-handers Johnny Cueto and Jeff Samarzija from the disabled list.
