Outfield prospect Heliot Ramos has a leg infection, Giants manager Gabe Kapler told reporters on a Zoom conference call Saturday.
.@gabekapler says prospect Heliot Ramos has an infection in his leg which is why he hasn’t practicing, adding “I’m always concerned when our players are not well, but I don’t have long term concerns, I don’t expect it to be months. “ Needs more info before providing a timeline.

No timetable has been given for Ramos' absence, but reading between the lines of Kapler's comments, it could be a few weeks.
