LOS ANGELES - For the second time in the series, Buster Posey started the game on the bench. Posey has had back and hip issues, but manager Bruce Bochy would not cite any specific ailment, saying generally the catcher is beat up.
"He needs a break," Bochy said. "We've been grinding him pretty hard. Sometimes one day off is not enough. He's feeling the effects of that.
