SAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants have Buster Posey back in the lineup for Friday night’s matchup with Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, but earlier in the day put yet another player on the disabled list.
Kelby Tomlinson suffered a sprained left thumb in Wednesday’s game against the Boston Red Sox and was placed on the 15-day DL on Friday. The move surprised manager Bruce Bochy, who said he didn’t learn until Thursday that Tomlinson’s thumb was hurting.
