SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Randy Winn saw the gaggle of reporters and did what Bruce Bochy probably wishes he could do every time he sees them after a game. Winn started to run away.
Winn had nowhere to hide. The former Giants center fielder had just won his first game as a professional manager, defeating Team Shawon Dunston 3-0 in a three-inning intrasquad game featuring prospects.
"It was a big day for me personally, a big day for the Giants. We're 1-0," Winn joked. Actually, by definition after an intrasquad game, the Giants are 1-1.
