Giants overcome three homers off Samardzija, come from behind to beat Pirates

PITTSBURGH - PNC Park has not been the Giants' friend. The last time they won two consecutive games here in the same series, Brett Tomko threw a complete game to start a three-game sweep of the Pirates in 2005.

The Giants finally achieved the elusive second win in a row, coming from four runs down to win 7-6 Wednesday night.

The Giants trailed 6-2 after three innings, but they overcame an early barrage of homers against Jeff Samardzija and took a 7-6 lead in the sixth on Joe Panik's two-run double in the sixth.
