The Giants will hold a news conference today at 11 a.m. PT to announce that they have come to terms with Oracle on a 20-year naming rights partnership for the ballpark formerly known as AT&T Park.
Giants president & CEO Larry Baer, Oracle CEO Mark Hurd, Hall of Famer Willie Mays and former San Francisco manager and current special adviser Dusty Baker are expected to be on hand for the formal announcement.
According to a report in the San Francisco Chronicle, Oracle will pay more than $200 for the naming rights. The software company also holds the rights for Oracle Arena in Oakland, home of the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
