The Johnny Cueto rehab tour is rolling on to Sacramento.
Cueto, who underwent Tommy John surgery last August, took the latest step in his quest to return to the Giants on Tuesday when he tossed 60 pitches for Class-A Advanced San Jose. Cueto surrendered five runs on four hits while striking out three and walking one in 4 1/3 innings. The number of pitches is more important than the results, though, and Cueto's 60 pitches were enough to see him advance to the next stage of his rehab.
On Wednesday, the Giants announced Cueto would be headed to Triple-A Sacramento to pitch for the River Cats.
