Giants offense goes into hibernation in loss to Marlins

MIAMI - Bruce Bochy, back in the visiting manager's office at Marlins Park after a heart scare, joked that he went to the hospital because he heard it had a "special pill for offense."

Apparently that pill has not been approved yet by the FDA.

A night after Brandon Crawford had seven hits by himself, tying the National League record, the Giants were held to four in Tuesday night's 2-0 loss.

Crawford went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts and flied out with two on to end the eighth inning.

Tom Koehler blanked the Giants over second innings, the second pitcher to do so in three games after Tanner Roark accomplished it in Washington on Sunday.
