BOSTON – Giants manager Bruce Bochy spent part of his time off Monday walking the Freedom Trail.
“It was only 93 (degrees),” he said, dripping with more sarcasm than sweat. “But I enjoyed it. I walked the whole thing. Then I had to find a tavern.”

Bochy appreciates American history. He also knows something about giving signs. One if by land, two if by sea, and a tug of the ear if you want to start the runner.
It’s quite a bit cooler Tuesday and there’s a ton of orange in the stands as the Giants begin their two-game interleague series at Fenway Park.
