SAN FRANCISCO -- A day after getting blasted by the Colorado Rockies, the Giants added some firepower to their lineup.
Joe Panik returned after missing six games with a tight groin and Hunter Pence returned after sitting out one game with back tightness. The two additions mean a banged-up lineup is almost whole again; Angel Pagan remains sidelined by a hamstring strain and he'll likely miss this weekend's series.
The Giants would have likely had to make a roster move if Panik and Pagan were to miss the whole Rockies series, but they now won't be as short-handed.
