SAN FRANCISCO – The Giants are entering the problematic portion of their rotation Monday night as they begin a three-game series with the powerful Toronto Blue Jays.
Jake Peavy (1-3, 9.00 ERA) takes the ball against talented right-hander Aaron Sanchez (2-1, 2.82.) On Tuesday, Matt Cain (0-4, 7.84) tries to snap a 13-start winless streak against J.A. Happ (4-0, 2.50), another Toronto pitcher on a roll.

If the Cain-Happ matchup seems familiar to you, it should. They last opposed each other in 2012, when Cain threw his perfect game against the Houston Astros.
The Blue Jays have a little more in their lineup than that primordial version of the Astros.
