Giants not adding beer sales for shorter games; A's mulling switch

This year appears to be destined to be even worse. Last week's three-game home series against the Cleveland Guardians drew just over 11,000 fans total. Those games were outdrawn — in some cases doubled — by most Triple-A teams. The Coliseum decks are so empty that one enterprising couple allegedly engaged in a sex act in plain sight last year. (This is the fault of A's ownership, which is engaged in something like a boycott of baseball, openly refusing to field a competitive roster until it gets a publicly funded stadium, a "Major League"-esque scam with no end in sight.
