Giants' Matt Cain in swing of things at Pebble Beach

PEBBLE BEACH -- We're back in an even year, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that the Giants beat the 49ers on Tuesday in their annual good-natured golf confrontation in the Chevron Charity Shoot-Out, the increasingly popular prelude to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

There were more good barbs than good shots between the teams along the five-hole whiskey route of Pebble Beach Golf Links, but there was one shot worth framing -- Matt Cain's mammoth 340-yard drive on the 18th hole that essentially settled the match, which was tied 2-2 going to the final hole.
