DENVER – Even after undergoing a heart procedure to address a cardiac arrythmia, and then losing ace left-hander Madison Bumgarner to the disabled list because of injuries sustained a dirt bike accident, Giants manager Bruce Bochy has not misplaced his sense of humor.
“It’s good to be back with the club and be back in the rhythm, I guess you could say,” said Bochy, who will be back on the bench as the Giants open their three-game series against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field on Friday.
Bochy had missed the two-game series at Kansas City after undergoing what was termed a minor ablation procedure in San Diego on Monday.
