Giants manage just two hits in 5-0 loss to Colorado Rockies

SAN FRANCISCO — On a quiet day for the Giants offense, the hardest hit came when Jarrett Parker crashed into the left-field fence with a sickening thud.

Parker grabbed in agony at his right shoulder and required assistance off the field. There was no official word on the severity of the injury by the time the Colorado Rockies polished off a 5-0 victory at AT&T Park.

Rockies starter Tyler Chatwood stymied the Giants from the start in a complete game two-hitter. Chatwood took a perfect game into the sixth before Chris Marrero, playing only because Parker was out, broke things up with a clean, two-out single to right.
