MIAMI - Madison Bumgarner started his second game of the season Monday night and showed a level of intensity that’s in midseason form.

After Bumgarner was removed in the sixth inning of the Giants’ 7-5 victory over the Marlins, he directed a few choice words at plate umpire Jeremie Rehak, who ejected the pitcher before he could return to the dugout.

Bumgarner wasn’t thrilled with Rehak’s performance and stopped to speak with him a couple of times between innings.
