The San Francisco Giants lost to the New York Yankees once again tonight, 7-3.
A few weeks ago, I remember covering a game in which the Giants gave up a grand slam before I’d even managed to turn the game on and neither team scored for the rest of the game.
So when I offered to help my brother with something right at first pitch tonight, I was hesitant to say “what could I possibly miss in the first five minutes?” And Aaron Judge took that personally, hitting a home run literally the second I turned the television on that also scored Juan Soto to get the Yankees their first two runs of the game.
