Giants lose fourth straight

SAN FRANCISCO -- Madison Bumgarner wasn't enough to pull the Giants out of their recent funk.

Bumgarner delivered six dominant innings before serving up a two-run home run to Welington Castillo as the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Giants 2-1 Wednesday night, sending San Francisco to its fourth straight loss and seventh in its past eight games. That home run, and a return to form outing from Arizona ace Zack Greinke, was more than enough to continue the Giants' early-season frustrations and the Diamondbacks' recent dominance. This was the Giants' 11th loss in their past 13 home games against Arizona. There was some hope in the ninth inning when Matt Duffy ripped a double, his second of the night.
