Giants' LaMonte Wade Jr. sinks the A's with a dramatic 9th inning homer

"If you said you saw this one coming, I don't believe you," San Francisco Giants broadcaster Duane Kuiper noted at the conclusion of Saturday's Giants-A's game. And he's right.

The A's jumped out to an early lead in game two of their latest Bay Bridge series, and looked like they might be able to coast to another victory. Giants ace Kevin Gausman stunk it up (and was maybe interrogated by an umpire over his tattoos), and the Giants were uncharacteristically sloppy when they had chances to put runs on the board. Then, in the top of the ninth inning, down 5-4, manager Gabe Kapler inserted LaMonte Wade Jr.
