The Giants jumped all over Nationals starter Jon Lester who was also victimized by some poor fielding. It was 8-0 after three innings. Anthony DeSclafani threw six scoreless and left with a 9-0 lead. Tyler Beede got an inning of relief work and he gave up three runs but also struck out two. Let's hope he can get back to full strength soon and add some depth to the staff. Jose Alvarez nailed down the 8th on four pitches and with a 10-3 lead John Brebbia got the 9th. He gave up a run but got the final outs and the Giants had another big win.
