Jarrett Parker said he tries not to imagine what he could have done as the Giants’ left fielder if healthy. Instead, he looks ahead.
“I’m going to try to make an impact when I come back here,” Parker said.
The wait might not be long. Parker took on-field batting practice Saturday for the first time since fracturing his right clavicle and anticipates being ready when eligible to come off the 60-day disabled list June 16.
Parker, who hit one ball over the right-field wall during BP, is expected to start a rehab assignment within a week.
