Police have made two arrests and recovered the Hunter Pence scooter stolen from the Make-A-Wish offices in San Francisco, NBC-Bay Area reported Tuesday.
The scooter which was ridden by the Giants outfielder was stolen Saturday night by thieves at the South of Market offices on Hawthorne Street. Other items, including laptops and I-pads were also stolen.San Francisco mayor Ed Lee said in a Tweet his office was donating eight I-pads to replace those that were stolen.The scooter, which was stolen once in 2014 but later returned to police, received a $40,000 donation to Make-A-Wish for its purchase but the donor had yet to pick up the scooter.
