The bat used by Brandon Crawford in his seven-hit game in Miami was shipped to the Hall of Fame, and the Hall’s president, Jeff Idelson was at AT&T Park on Saturday for Gaylord Perry’s statue unveiling.
Giants broadcaster Jon Miller, while emceeing the ceremony, had an important question for Idelson:
“Did you bring back Crawford’s bat? We need it.”
