Joe Panik has not played since June 27.
But according to Giants GM Bobby Evans, Panik may be returning within a week.
"He is doing very well. He's not at 100 percent from the concussion symptoms but he's as close to 100 percent as you can imagine," Evans said on KNBR 680 on Thursday morning. "And that's a great sign for him. He's done everything baseball wise, and he shouldn't be long for being out in the system doing some rehab and getting into some games.
