Former Giants pitcher Barry Zito acquitted himself well on "The Masked Singer," but his elimination Wednesday night wasn't without controversy.
Well, "controversy."
Zito, who went from a much-maligned free-agent signing to a fan-favorite contributor on a World Series team during seven seasons with the Giants, wore an all-black Los Angeles Dodgers cap during Wednesday's episode of "The Masked Singer: After The Mask." Cameras followed him flying home for the birth of his child, as Zito wore the hat of the Giants' biggest rivals.
The 42-year-old Zito doesn't need a writer to come to his defense since this is, you know, a hat I'm blogging about.
