Giants fall to Padres 5-1

In the battle of the Tysons, it was Tyson Ross who prevailed as the Giants fell to the Padres 5-1.

Both pitchers had their stuff working for them early in the game, with Ty Blach going four innings without allowing a hit, and Ross forcing the Giants to strand all of their base runners.

Ross ended his night with six innings pitched, seven hits, one run, one walk and five strikeouts, whereas Blach didn’t fare so well, going only five innings (well, he started the sixth but didn’t get an out), seven hits, four runs, three earned, one walk and three strikeouts.
