CHICAGO -- There’s always Coors Field.
Wrigley Field wasn’t exactly the spot where the Giants, who fell 3-2 to the Cubs in 13 innings in Sunday’s series finale, broke out offensively.
Ten runs and 14 hits in four games? That’s a normal night in Denver, where the Giants play next, which probably is good news for a team desperately trying to reintroduce themselves to the art of hitting.
Let’s rehash: Three hits Thursday, three Friday, four Saturday and … four Sunday - but it took extra innings to get those third and fourth hits in the finale.
