The San Francisco Giants lost their second in a row to the Los Angeles Angels today, losing 4-3 after a late comeback from the Angels.
Things started promising for the Giants, taking an early lead in the first inning. Austin Slater got on with a leadoff single, before the red-hot Heliot Ramos came up to bat and did it again. After a lengthy, full-count battle with Angels starting pitcher Patrick Sandoval, Ramos sent a low four-seam fastball on a ride to the left-field bleachers to give the Giants a two-run lead to start off the game.
