The San Francisco Giants made a whole host of moves on Tuesday before their game against St. Louis Cardinals, and the roster is starting to look a little bit different.
Most interesting as that right-handed pitcher Tyler Beede, who underwent Tommy John surgery in March of 2020, has been called up. Joining him is infielder Jason Vosler, who has already had a few stints on the roster this season, his first at the MLB level.
To make room for Beede and Vosler, outfielder Jaylin Davis, who injured his hamstring on Monday, was placed on the 10-day IL, and right-handed pitcher Jimmie Sherfy was designated for assignment.
