HOUSTON - Madison Bumgarner felt so good facing hitters several hours before Tuesday’s game that he waited until the final round of batting practice to take his hacks, too.
And did he ever. Bumgarner hit a few towering drives into the seats at Minute Maid Park, another sign that he’s well on his way back to the Giants’ rotation.
“Everything feels normal now,” Bumgarner said two months after undergoing surgery on the fifth metacarpal in his left hand.
