Cooperstown-bound Giants manager Bruce Bochy announced Monday morning he will retire at the end of the 2019 season.
Bochy, whose three World Series titles have no doubt stamped his ticket to the Hall of Fame, will make his 24th season as a big league manager his last. This will be his 12th and final year in the Giants dugout.
“I’ll be retiring after the season,” the 63-year-old Bochy told reporters at spring training in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Although the Giants have struggled in recent years, Bochy’s impact in San Francisco has been monumental.
