PHOENIX - Let it be said that the two relievers who were goats the night before, Hunter Strickland and Josh Osich, each threw a dominating inning in Sunday's series finale against the Diamondbacks.
They needed it. The Giants needed it after the bullpen blew a multiple-run lead for the third time in six games.
With Strickland and Osich rebounding strongly in the ninth and 10th innings, the Giants pushed the game to the 11th inning and won 5-4 on a Jarrett Parker walk and a pinch RBI double by sore-legged pinch-hitter Ramiro Pena.
Santiago Casilla provided another cardiac save, and the Giants won the series.
