Giants: Andrew Suarez making case for Opening Day roster spot

If you have not watched San Francisco Giants pitcher Andrew Suarez in spring training yet, you might want to start.

The former Giants starter was relegated to the bullpen and Triple-A last season after making 29 starts as a rookie in 2018, but he has been lights out so far this spring.

In four scoreless innings of work in his first two appearances, Suarez has allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out six of the 14 batters he has faced.

It's a small sample size, but the left-hander has impressed nonetheless.
