SAN FRANCISCO -- Giants manager Bruce Bochy said he might consider some lineup changes to jog a scuffling offense, and Saturday’s lineup features several.
Hunter Pence is back in right field after a 48-game absence. The Giants activated Pence, who missed a little less than two months due to hamstring surgery, from the disabled list and designated infielder Ramiro Pena for assignment.
Bochy said Pena "did a great job for us" filling in amid injuries to Matt Duffy and Joe Panik. But Pena was the victim of a roster crunch now that Panik is back and the Giants traded for infielder Eduardo Nunez on Thursday.
