The San Francisco Giants still need to figure out what their roster will look like in 2025, as they’ve yet to sign any players to Major League contracts, or make any trades this offseason. But while they don’t know who will be playing, they do know who will be coaching.
On Thursday, the Giants made a few moves with their coaching staff, and finalized it in a result. As had long been speculated, Damon Minor has been promoted to the Major League staff, after spending eight years with the Giants AAA affiliate in Sacramento. They also hired Oscar Bernard from the San Diego Padres, where he coached alongside Bob Melvin a few years ago.
