Former Giants pitcher Reyes Moronta, who made his MLB debut with San Francisco and pitched with the Giants for parts of four seasons, died on Sunday. He was 31.
According to several reports, Moronta died in a vehicle crash in his native country of the Dominican Republic. According to Dominican news outlet El Pregonero, the crash occurred right in front of his father’s house.
