Hart played for the Giants from 1963-73, hitting .282 with 157 homers and 526 RBI in 1,001 games. He had one of his best seasons in 1986, hitting a career-best 33 homers with 93 RBI and a .285 batting average in 156 games. He received MVP votes in 1964, '65 and '67.The Giants will pay tribute to Hart with a moment of silence before Friday night's game against the Chicago Cubs.Hart is survived by his former wife Janet Hart-Ayala, his four children Justin, Ryan, Schineese and Heather, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
