Former Giants pitcher Jean Machi arrested

The career of former Giants pitcher Jean Machi has really spiraled downhill since he was let go last July.

He was picked up by the Boston Red Sox, and while he recorded a win and four saves, he was granted free agency at the end of the 2015 season, perhaps because of a 5.09 ERA and five homers allowed in 23 innings. The Chicago Cubs signed him during the off-season and assigned him to Triple-A Iowa, where, according to the Des Moines Register, Machi was arrested early Thursday for public intoxication and urinating in public. He also tried to pick a fight with the owner of the car he was urinating on.
