It was a sea of familiar faces for Sergio Romo when the Marlins hosted the Giants this week.
The three-game stint in South Beach concluded on Thursday with the Giants topping the Marlins, 3-1, but began on Tuesday with Romo gifting his former skipper something to show his appreciation -- a 1942 bottle of Don Julio tequila.
“I went over there before [Tuesday's] game,” Romo said on Wednesday to MLB.com's Christina De Nicola. “I went over there and said, 'What's up?' I had a gift for him. I gave him a token of appreciation for the faith and trust that he had in me for all those years.
